• Question: what do snakes do if they are in danger?

      Well I think it depends on the species. Some of them with rear their heads back in a threatening way when they feel threatened or even make a rattling noise if they have a modified tail. Others just slink away quickly and hide.

      Attack, camouflage or if they are in danger from parasites- shed their skin đŸ™‚

      The others have mentioned, depends on the snake. The poisonous ones in particular rear up, like the king cobra, rattlesnakes…well the name says it all, rattle their tail, and others slink away. If you encounter a snake rearing up at you, I’d back away for sure!
