Excellent question, as I needed to think about that for a while! There’s no one thing which I find interesting, as there are so many different areas you can go into and find out more about. Also its all about finding out new things and discovery. Science knows it doesn’t know everything otherwise it would stop!
Regarding the specific areas I find interesting, it mainly involves climate change, natural hazards, astronomy, astrophysics, geology, most areas of physics and our dynamic planet. I could write a book about all this, but someone probably already has and I don’t think there would be enough space here!
The bottom line is because science is the study of how everything we know works. Its about learning and discovering. Knowledge is power!
About science itself, I think it’s interesting that there’s always more to explore, and I think it’s interesting that we can describe so much of the world using maths.
If I was to pick a topic, because I love physics I would say quantum mechanics. This describes the smallest particles in the universe (that make up everything in the universe), what they are, how they behave, and it’s really crazy stuff and completely different to how normal objects behave.
