I think my main goal is to continue the development of the understanding of climate science in Ireland. Of course this may change as the years go on but at the moment that’s what I’m aiming for. I’ll need to get a PhD to be really taken seriously and I’m discussing the possibility with a few people, so I can do it part time while I’m still working, though will still constitute a major part of the day to day workload.

Regarding the book, its like a project which can be put on hold for the time being. I think its something which has has potential as I don’t know of any books quite like it. So as long as I can find time outside work to do it anything is possible. Starting is always the tricky thing and finding time when you can fit into your routine, otherwise you can never get a long term thing like that done!
