Question: why do boy seahorses have the babies instead of the girls

Lady seahorses use a lottttt of energy to make eggs that will turn into babies. Because of this, they give them to the men to keep in a safe pouch where they first fertilize them, and then feed them (similar to giving them milk, food is given to eggs). They don’t spend nearly as much energy taking care of them as women do making them so its a fair trade for the seahorses.
