  We see a lot of plastic and other garbage in the kelp forests- everywhere. I would even find plastic in Antarctica and Greenland. It’s bad for seaweed because you see it wrapped around them, cutting them and keeping them from growing! It’s similar to how it can affect coral reefs and animals in amny ways.
