I went into this competition to help you all understand that farming is not dirty and bad for the environment because it is crucial for our world. So if i can convince some kids that farmers is good or positive when operated in the right way, then i am very happy! But to win and continue to help kids understand the importance of agriculture and farming that would be amazing!!

I am taking part to hopefully give younger people an interest in science, and allow them to ask any questions they would like answered. I want to show students that scientists are just normal people, and anybody can become a scientist if they want. I want to show students that you don’t have to be the smartest in the class, if you like to question things or figure things out that science could be a really good career.
I am actually learning a lot too while taking part. Some of the questions being asked are making me really think, and question how things work. It is okay not to know everything, we are all always learning.
I don’t care about winning, but if I did win, I would spend the prize money on cool props and experiments to get younger people interested in science. I would go to schools and family events and try to get younger people interested in science, to question the world around them and to learn about how the world works.

When I was in Italy I was working as a teacher and as a scientist, I would loved to have an event like this back then.
I also have a little bit of nostalgia of that period of my life because back then I had a weekly Question and answer just for my class.

I’m taking part to hopefully help students get a better picture of what we do as Scientists. It’s not all about being in a lab or discovering something groundbreaking but to uncover more about our world and environment and learning from each other. I’m learning so much as well, from the questions and chats, it’s been great.
