• Question: Do you think round up should be illegal

      Round up is a 40 years old herbicide.
      As with many chemicals I think that we can get better results trying to come up to new substance or solution instead of eliminating the one we have.

      No I don’t think it should be illegal. Its use has prevented food shortages and lead to increased food supply worldwide. I think there could be better ways to prevent food shortages and to ensure crops grow well, but until these are fully developed, round up is needed. It is for us and scientists of the future to come up with new methods to ensure crops grow efficiently, but also a reduction in food waste is needed worldwide to make sure we can feed the whole planet.

      while there are concerns about health risks associated with using roundup, I think science should focus more on the development of other safe alternatives. Roundup is still effective and should only be made illegal when other safe alternatives are developed
