      No, when you buy vegetables and fruits you must wash them before eating

      We should wash all fruit and veg before eating, especially if we are not going to peel them before eating, as we don’t know who are what they have been in contact with. But, I have eaten fruit straight from a packet in the past.

      It’s safer to wash all fruit and vegetables we buy in the supermarket, as we aren’t sure how they have been handled. It’s good to be more cautious.
