Meat is an important part of our diet but you shouldn’t eat it everyday, the best would be three times a week

They are sources of protein, however they are very processed and have lots of extra salt added. Sausages have a lot of other ingredients too. Less processed types of meat are a better options as a protein and iron source. If eating meat like beef (round roast, steak or minced), lamb, pork or chicken fillets (not the breaded kind). Other sources from veg include peas, beans and lentils which are high in protein and leafy green veg which is high in iron. As a nation, we should probably reduce the amount of meat we eat.
However sausages and bacon are okay as long as we don’t eat them too often. We have to enjoy the food we eat too.

They are sources of protein, but as with all foods, it is best to eat everything in moderation, not too much of a particular thing. Sausages and bacon, however tend to be a little more salty, so it might be good to eat them with less salty foods.
