      Starchy food is good for you as they contain carbohydrates that we need for energy. They also can contain other vitamins and minerals that our body needs as well.

      Yes starchy foods are good as they contain carbohydrates, which we need for energy. If we can eat whole grain versions (whole grain pasta, rice, bread) or leave the skins on potatoes, they are even more nutritious as the contain extra fibre and vitamins. We shouldn’t just eat starchy food though, we should eat them as part of balanced meals with lots of vegetables and protein sources.

      Absolutely they are part of any good diet since they can give you a lot of energy, a good quantity of vitamins and proteins and they are low on fats.
