Natural sunlight is made by different color, sometimes crystals or drops of water in the air can separate the colors forming a rainbows.

When natural sunlight enters raindrops and reflects off the side of the drop and exits, it is broken into a range of many colours. The different angles cause different colours from different drops to reach our eyes so we see a rainbow.

It is when light enters a droplet and we can see the light as different colours and this is a rainbow. If you have ever blown bubbles, you can sometimes see loads of different colours on the bubble surface. This is the separating of the lights colours in the water, which then reflect off each other in the bubble.
