Fruits that are high in sugar include litchis, passion-fruit, pomegranates, mangoes, cherries, oranges, kiwifruit, grapes, guavas, and bananas. Litichis have highest amount of sugar (15%).
Most fruit has sugar, but these are naturally occurring and not added, so these are thought to be better for us than foods with sugars added. Fruits also contain a lot of vitamins and minerals so they are good for us, despite some having high sugar levels. pomegranates, cherries and oranges all have high sugar levels.
