      Before doing sports or any kind of physical intense activity, it’s wise to eat something rich in sugar in modest quantity and drink some water.
      Doing so can boost your body with fast energy.

      Foods that are high in carbohydrates are good to have before doing sports, such as pasta, bread, rice. The carbohydrates provide your body with energy that it needs when you do sports.

      A light meal containing complex carbohydrates is best for sports in which you will be active for a long time. Porridge with some banana, or pasta with chicken are good options. The porridge and pasta are complex carbohydrates and will release energy slowly. The fruit will release sugar quickly, the protein in chicken will keep you feeling fuller for longer and help your muscles recover form exercise. If you are sprinting and need energy quickly, fruit like oranges is good.
