      What do you mean by extensive farming?

      While it’s not a perfect system, extensive farming is a very science and technological savy system that produce food with a low price but still keeps the food on a good quality level.

      Although I work in Teagasc, I work in the food bioscience department and I actually don’t know much about farming. Personally, I think we need to produce more food to feed the world, and extensive farming is a way to do this, but we have to be careful not to disrupt the environment. I think we need make better use of the food we do produce and waste less food. What do you know about extensive farming? Can you tell me more about it.
