Pizza is rich in carbohydrates and too much of them it’s bad for your health, that would happens also if you eat too much bread or pasta.

Pizza is considered unhealthy because it isn’t a balanced meal which is highly processed. It mainly contains carbohydrates and fats (from the cheese). It could be improved if it was topped with some vegetables, which may help balance the meal more.

Pizza is okay as a treat, but should not be eaten every day. The main nutrients are carbohydrates and fat, and if meat is used as a topping it is usually highly processed meat. It is a calorie dense meal, meaning there are a lot of calories in it, and not very many micro nutrients. A more balanced meal is preferable, with a high quality protein source and lots of vegetables.
