      Toxins are very bad for the environment when they are very lethal to many organisms and when they are difficult to eliminate (like plastic).

      Different toxins are poisons to different things. Some toxins are poisons to plants, some to insects, some to different animals and some to humans. Some toxins are poisons to all forms of life. We don’t want to be releasing these to the environment in case they harm the life in the area.
