• Question: Why do every meat taste similar to chicken?

      I think it’s because chicken is the most commonly consumed meat around the world and it’s so easy to cook in many different ways. That’s why many people use it as a comparison to other meats.

      It also could be because a lot of other meats like pork or beef have been mass processed, in a similar way to how chicken is processed, which makes them lose their ‘wild’ taste, which makes them all taste similar to chicken.

      Meat is all muscle tissue of different animals, it is all made of muscle fibers. Some meats taste a bit different due to being red or white meat, this is due to different types of muscle fibers. They can also differ depending on how active the animal was, and older animals often produce tougher meat. Overall all meat is muscle, so it is similar. Muscle or meat is made up of water and protein mainly, and different meats have different amounts of fats also.
