• Question: Did you always want to be an animal scientist, if so why?

      I originally wanted to be a vet, which (if you think about it) is a yes. Vets are animal scientists too. We are detectives trying to find answers!

      I was fascinated by how humans and animals were alike and different since a young age. I didn’t know back then I wanted to be ‘an animal scientist’ but as I grew older I realized how much there is to learn about our own bodies that we still don’t know the answer to, so many diseases that don’t have a cure, and how much we can learn from observing animals!
