  We use a tiny protein, that is referred to as a molecular scissors but is in fact an enzyme which cuts DNA. We then introduce a new base of DNA (say a C) and when the cell tries to repair itself, it incorporates the new base. Hey presto!

Question: How can DNA be edited ?
