It’s one of the many things that keeps us alive yes! One of the most important gases we need is oxygen. That exists in the air we breathe and it is vital to our survival. Though in order to survive we also need water and food. All of these combine to create the chemical energy our cells need to help us survive!
Yes! Without oxygen gas molecules, the body’s cells would die. But as Shane explained, there’s other crucial factors required to keep us alive: food and water. A person without food or water would suffer a long and painful death. A person can survive 3 days without water, and 21 to 70 days without food… BUT an average person’s body would shut down very rapidly without oxygen. Most are likely to die after only a few minutes without this important gas, (about 3 min) but David Blaine (a very cool magician, look him up!) broke the world record by holding his breath for 17 minutes and 4 seconds! wow that’s a long time!
Hello, yes the main thing that keeps us alive is breathing the oxygen of the atmosphere, however a person needs also many other factors to live: eating food, drinking water. There are also other minor factors that could help, people should be exposed to natural light in order to absorb calcium necessary to grow healthy bones.
