Hi Kelly, do you mean volume, as in a volume of liquid, or volume as in sound? I’ll answer both anyway!:)
Volume, as in of a liquid for example, is the amount of space that a substance or object occupies, or that is enclosed within a container. So, a volume of water, is the amount of space the water occupies in a jug for example.
Volume, as in sound, is a more like loudness really – its a physical correlation or agreement with amplitude strength.
