There are lots of different aspects to this answer. Let’s break it down to see.
A) The planets are all quite far away from Earth, and each other. The Earth and Saturn are about 1.5billion km apart, and because of their orbits, this distance can vary too.
B) Most spaceships can only stock enough fuel, oxygen, and supplies to travel so far, and unfortunately this usually isn’t that far in terms of the Universe!
Voyager 1 is the furtherest a space probe has ever gone so far, and its been travelling for over 20 years
Niamh think about it. If it takes so long to get to Dublin or even America then it would take ageeeesssss to travel millions of miles to mars or whatever. Simple and to the point.
