Question: do you agree with the humans creating pedigree dogs?

I think humans have been breeding animals for lots of reasons for thousands of years – dogs, cats, horses, cows. I dont have a problem with this as such, but i think some of the dog breeds now have lots of genetic problems and so the pubs might be suffering pain or discomfort that could be avoided. Im not so happy about this. However there are only really two solutions – genetic engineering to correct the problems, or to let the breeds go extinct.
