• Question: why can you still see the moon, in the day?

      the moon is the brightest object in the night sky. (it’s bright because it reflects light from the sun). depending on its orbit around the earth, we can sometimes see it during the day (but it’s much harder to see it as the sun is MUCH brighter)

      depending were the moon and the sun are in relation to the earth we can see the moon even in the day. This is because the sunlight is reflected from the surface of the moon and reaches the earth. Even during the day when the sun is bright, the reflected light from the moon surface is strong enough to allow us to see it.

      The others did a great job answering this one. I remember being really confused as a kid, about why the moon was out if it wasn’t night time!!
