For example, my microscope works by dragging a little tip across the surface of my chips, the microscope senses these changes and the computer makes a cool 3-d picture. The tips are tiny though. The amount of times I’ve picked one up with tweezers only to have it shoot across the room!
And the big problem with my samples is that sometimes they come out perfect, and other times they come out all messed up.
If you mess something up as a scientist it’s no big deal. Own up to your mistakes and keep trying to get it right, that’s the important bit! (and don’t lie and say your bad results are better than they are)
