• Question: how much did you get paid for acting in the tv show?

      Hey Luke!

      Sadly for me, it was just Sinead that got on the telly. I’m pretty jealous.

      But, if I got the chance, I’d probably do it for something small, like a book token…actually, I’d do it for free, for two reasons.

      1) It would be so cool to get on the TV!
      2) I’ll take any chance I’m given to talk to people about science. It’s my biggest passion. If I got the chance to talk to everyone watching, that would be amazing!

      Hi Luke,
      It was part of the T.V series The Science Squad which is a really cool T.V program about all the amazing Science that is going on in Ireland. I work in the Biomedical Diagnostics Institute in DCU and they wanted to film about all the work we do on medical devices and how we are trying to make them really really small.
      I didn’t get paid anything but I didn’t mind because it was so cool to be on T.V! The last time I was on T.V was when my bigger sister sent in a photo of me to The Den. It was a T.V show on RTE2 and if you were lucky they would show a picture of you for you’re birthday! And you are definitely to young to remember that show! And now I feel old….
