  Hi Jill,
  Well they will be an improvement on the current technologies as they will be more sensitive and more portable and also cheaper to make.
  The devices we use are on the nanoscale which means they are more sensitive and can hopefully detect changes in peoples blood quicker than the ones in hospitals now.
  We also want to make these devices easier to use so people can test there own blood at home similar to tests people with diabetes to use to check for blood sugar levels.
