There’s mixed evidence on whether they’re better or worse for you! We need to do a lot more research before we know for sure. The best option is always water, and sparkling water is awesome. 🙂
I drink about two cans of coke a day. I recently switched to Coke Zero but that’s only because of the sugar tax. I say….do what you feel like. If you feel like being healthy, then stay off coke altogether. If you feel like not being healthy…drink whichever you find the nicest. Actually…recently I did a blind taste test of coke zero and diet and I couldn’t tell the difference. That upset me.
As Maureen says there is mixed evidence. While they have less sugar, they also have additives and E’s that are out in to make it taste nicer, but they could also be bad for your health. Water is always the best option and you can always buy a fruit infusion bottle if you like your water to have a bit of flavour! I love drinking lemon and lime water every now and again!
