      Unfortunately, you can be blind for your whole life. Some people are born blind and never are able to see. Thanks to the work of amazing scientists like Sonia, and caring people, blind people lead active, fulfilling lives these days and are able to do pretty much anything people with sight can. Guide dogs for the blind also help a lot.
