      Oh man – amazing question! A laser is made up of a stream of particles called photons, and they have an electric and magnetic field associated with them. However, the electric field is much stronger than the magnetic field. So for a normal laser, the particles are not very magnetic. However – if you make the laser really really strong…by adding more photons – it becomes very magnetic! To do this, you’d need strength of about 10000000000000000000 W! To put that in context….your average light bulb is about 100 W. W stands for Watts – the unit of power. Thanks for your question!
