• Question: My brother was born a perfect baby, only he had fluid around his brain why was this?

      I am sorry to hear that. I am not an expert in this area, this question would be great for a doctor! What I do know about this though is that it is sometimes called congenital Hydrocephalus, which is a fancy medical name for fluid in the brain. We all have fluid around the brain called cerebral spinal fluid. This flows around the brain and is washed out through holes in your skull called ventricles. Sometimes if one of these ventricles is blocked it can cause the cerebral spinal fluid to build up around the brain. I do not know if this is what happened to your brother as I am not a doctor but that is what I know about fluid on the brain.
