There are lots of steps! As soon as we’ve figured something out, we usually have more questions that we only discovered along the way! In a really nice way, the questions never stop.
Once you discover something it can actually lead to more questions that need answering!! But if you look at neuroscience usually what happens is you discover something in an animal, so you look at that animal more closely and when you’re sure that you have actually discovered something you then need to see if it exists in humans as well!
