• Question: Why do some people buckle if you were to hit them in the back of the knee?

      When you hit someone in the back of the knee, you usually hit their lateral collateral ligament, which bends and pulls the muscles in the leg together. The knee then automatically bends, or buckles. In any case it’s not the nicest thing to do to someone and you can actually end up severely hurting them.
