  The Earth formed out of a disk of gas and dust that swirled around the sun when it was brand new. The rotation helped our planet form and still keeps it spinning! Everything in the galaxy spins and then the galaxy itself spins! It’s a miracle we don’t feel dizzy all the time. 🙂
