• Question: Are all scientists mad?

      We all have a bit of madness 😉

      Scientist are often shown as a bit mad in movies …. it is mainly a fiction, as scientists love what the do 😉 .

      I have to admit that sometimes we are a bit crazy when we start going through some details of our work, because we are passionate or because we are a bit excited in trying something new (haven’t you been before? 😉 ).

      I hope you do not imagine a Scientist with on: white coat, big glasses, long and undressed hair, and steam going out of his ears 😀 😀 …

      I could make your school have a visit of our laboratories, play with our Lego models (they are cool, and real device exits too around the world using the same technology (solar, wind, wave))… and you will see we are not that mad 😉

      Great Question?. You might be able to answer this one after you have chatted to us- what do you think?
      I don’t think we look like scientists in the movies but sometimes you have a be very into your stuff to do what we do, we generally don’t do it for money, we do our do for the love of figuring stuff out- so in that sense we could be described as mad, cause other people might use all that time and all that brain- energy doing something that pays an awful lot.
      Maybe the mad looking scientist comes from the scientist staying up all night trying to get something to work and forgetting to wash or shave!!!!!

      Also the little elves that whisper the secrets of the universe in our ears are perfectly normal elves!

      I probably look like a mad scientist most of the time but I’m definitely not mad!
