As far as I know astronomers are just starting to find that some stars have planets around them, and they are easier to find for stars close by. Andromeda is really really far (a different galaxy), so I haven’t heard of any being discovered. But if the stars there are the same as the stars in the Milky Way (our galaxy), then about 1 star in 3 has a planet, so maybe around 300 billion planets in total!
