Lots of different bacteria can be infectious so I couldn’t pick just one as being the worst.
Bacteria have evolved lots of little tricks to stop us from trying to kill or get rid of them. For example some of them have developed antibiotic immunity which means that antibiotics don’t work on them and other bacteria can create something called a biofilm where the bacteria can communicate with each other to try and protect themselves from things like being washed away by cleaning.
Generally bacteria that is hardest to treat.
It is hard to say but bacteria that break up your red cells or bacteria that are surrounded by a capsule are generally difficult to treat.
On average it take 1 bacterial cell 20 minutes to reproduce and become 2 cells, and 2o minutes later these 2 cells would become 4, 20 minutes later 4 would be 8 and so on. So if you don’t clean things very well after a few hours you would be back up to lots and lots of bacteria.
