I do love my job (most days…some days things won’t work and then I’m less fond of it), it’s generally interesting, there’s always new things to learn so it’s rarely boring, and I’m fortunate enough to work with some very nice people, which makes for a nice working environment.
Yes, wouldn’t trade it for any other. In the past worked in a restaurant (one year), as a teacher (one year) and a journalist (one month) and found those more tiring and stressful. So I’m sticking with scientist!
I love my job most of the time. Some days it’s hard to get motivated especially when cold and wintery but it’s much more satisfying than other jobs I’ve had…waitressing, McDonald’s, chamber maid, more waitressing…even more waitressing…I hated being a waitress, in case you’re not sensing that?
I really do. I spend my time thinking about the mysteries of the Universe, and talking to amazing, awesome people, and traveling world. I consider myself to be very lucky.
