Hum lots of chemistry at play then! Hormones mostly, running through our veins

Michel is right, it is a lot of chemistry! Basically when we sense (either see, hear, smell, etc) something that excites us, our brain releases special chemicals called ‘neurotransmitters’: these neurotransmitters carry a message from the brain to the body telling it to release certain hormones which are then released into our bloodstream, making us feel excited!
