I want to believe that my research will help to understand the Multiple Sclerosis origin a bit better. Your question is actually broader than just about my work, it’s really smart. Personally I think that we can help the world by helping each other, by changing someone’s life. I remember when in the past I was working as a volunteer in the place for children from difficult families. There was a boy who was a bit aggressive and in general always against other children. It was a difficult situation, but day by day we were finding more and more understanding for each other and building some connection. One day with a group of children we mad a contest: who will run the fastest on the play ground, and he won. The first thing what he did was coming to me for a hug, to share his happiness. This moment I knew that I changed a world of this little person, he had someone who believed in him. So if you have a chance to help someone, to change someone’s day, give someone a good memory: always do it. By influencing other people with positive actions we are all changing the world for a better place. We don’t have to be scientist or doctors to safe life 🙂
