There are many things that help me stay focused. First, and most importantly, I silence my smartphone during working hours. It rings only to remind me of important appointments. Second, I find physical activity very useful to improve my concentration. I also drink a lot of water while I work. I take breaks around 10:30 am and 4:30 pm and eat some fruit. I take a walk outside everyday in the park after lunch.
All these tricks work for me, but it really depends on the person. Others may prefer to play an instrument or meet with friends for example.
Everyone has a different method that works for them!. For me I would rarely, if ever, study constantly all day. I would make sure I take 30min or 60min breaks when I have lost concentration! I recommend breaks doing things that you enjoy and takes your mind off of studying for a bit.
Also its super important to get sleep, I have always personally find that knowledge sticks in my mind better after sleeping. Plus it also tells me what has stayed in my mind versus what needs more studying!
Don’t skip food/drinks, important to keep your body fueled!
