Pretty much once you keep digging you eventually always reach rock! Under the continennts that is usually granite! In the ocean that is usually a type of rock called basalt (which is the rock that lava from Hawaii makes). As you go deeper you find different types of rocks because you are at higher pressure and temperature. As you get closer to the center of the earth it turns into Iron metal!
