      Dear EnyaB,
Science as a contrast to religion is a Positivisti approach from the 19th century it’s not necessary the same approach used by everyone, it’s a personal choice

Everyone believes in a god for a different reason.

Some people believe that we cannot explain the world without a higher power. I think most scientists would say we do not need to invoke a god to explain the world.

Some people feel that a belief in a god can give meaning and structure to their life.

I personally don’t believe in god because I don’t a reason or evidence for such a being to exist. However, if believing in a god make someone else a better person that doesn’t both me either!
