      So dinosaurs evolved from a group of reptiles called archosaurs. Archosaurs split into dinosaurs and reptiles such as crocodiles. The creature that actually evolved into dinosaur was likely a small two legged reptile (looking like a velociraptor maybe). The most famous early dinosaur might have been one called eoraptor, which mean the “dawn raptor”.
