Question: Do you agree that scientists should carry out testing on animals ?

Gosh-that’s a hard one and I could easily sit on the fence since my current job does not directly involve it. However, I am fully aware that many of the drugs many other necessary commodities are prepared having used animal tests. For me, the benefits of animal testing should outweigh the pain and distress caused to animals. Regulation of the process is vital and essential since some research is poor quality and not well founded. Would I work on animal testing -no, it would definitely not be my first choice of work-and that’s probably more emotional than morally based.
