An intermittent energy source is any source of energy that is not continuously available such as wind. If you mean these sources can fuel our cars with electricity or not (being in doubt because of these sources being intermittent), the answer is they can “in large scale” as for example when there is no wind in some part of the country, there is wind in the other parts.
