Question: Do you think the world could ever be run by robots?
I heard that there is a restaraunts in China or Japan that is completely run by robots but I'm not sure if the cooks are robots....but the waiters and waitresses are.
If artificial intelligence is given to the robots then yes world can be run by robots. It’s not impossible. But the robots are made in such a way that they will be useful for human beings and other animals. They will not do any harm to the society or the nature. Yeah there are few restaurant where it is completely run by robots from cooks to waiters and waitresses. Because of the good efficiency of the robots they are implemented in various work places but human beings are there to control them and take care in any emergency.
I don’t think so. There are lots of people who are very tech-friendly and sure, machines are essential for manufacturing. At the same time I think there’s a growing backlash against excessive use of technology and a growing awareness of the dangers of this for our mental health and wellbeing, plus a drive to actually make more human contact in our lives!
Think about this: many of the CEOs at the major tech giants in Silicon Valley have sent their kids not to schools in favour of using tablets for homework, but schools with lots of nature work, learning outside, and practical skills.
Ultimately I think that a certain amount of technology is useful and valuable but – all things in moderation. We are fundamentally a highly emotional, descriptive, creative, talkative, communicative species and I don’t machines will ever fulfil our basic needs to talk, to be heard, and to listen, to other human beings.
