Question: How long will it be until we run out of fossil fuels?

It depends on how long they remain profitable. Our total global exploitable reserves of some fossil fuels such as oil have actually increased due to advances in discovery and extraction. Some people think we have another 50 years left, but really we don’t want to be still burning fossil fuels in another 50 years.
