      As far as we can tell, it’s finite. Mathematical models explain that space is a surface, like the surface of a balloon, that is expanding. The problem is that the universe is now larger than we can see. The universe is so vast that even though light travels extremely fast, light travelling from stars in the furthest regions of the universe hasn’t reached us yet. So there is a threshold beyond which we can’t see.
