• Question: will the earth eventually explode?

      It’s very dangerous to guess future. We should not think of something without proof. According to some scientists after few million years earth will be a part of black hole. I also think so but can’t tell exactly.

      Current models of solar system evolution show us that towards the end of its life the Sun’s outer layers will expand as it starts to fuse heavy elements (well, heavier than hydrogen) in its core and the outwards force of the energy produced will be greater than the inwards-directed forces of gravity. Eventually the Sun will get larger and will subsume Mercury, Venus and Earth before its collapses into a brown dwarf. I’m not quite sure what will happen to the Earth, but I don’t think it will explode per se.
